My recorder ballsed up and didn't record it. D;
I've watched the first 1:46 on the iPlayer though, and it looks pretty brilliant. Even with the Hippogriff.

lol....Hippogriff. If he had just bowed and showed it a bit of respect they wouldn't have been in such a mess.

It's a griffin, not a hippogriff. They've been around rather longer, guys.
Other than that OMG I LOVED IT SO MUCH SLASH. : DD

I actually saw loads of gay in this episode. Mostly how quickly Merlin and Lancelot became friends. But, seriously. I need to make a picspam of this episode, I have so much to say about it. Off to get screencaps! Edit: Wow, I actually made a picspam. It's kind of long, but I hope you all will check it out! otempora42.livejournal.com/6069.html?#cutid1

Okay, I'll admit that... but Merlin really wants Arthur We love Julie Gardner for all the slash she's obviously had a say on ;D

Yeah, I liked this episode. I think the writers were trying to make Gwen/Merlin and Gwen/Lancelot the focus, but it turned out like Arthur/Lancelot/Merlin. Good stuff!

That's the first one I've ever seen, and I totally agree with you. I haven't noticed the crotch-staring in prev. episodes (too caught up in the slashy dialogue) but I will certainly be watching for it from now on. Wow, that was funny

See, I'm really not a Potter fan. *does not like it when everything's compared to Harry Potter* It was in instant reaction, to be honest. (I know it was a griffin. ;D) I guess I've never been a fan of this area of mythology. My interests are more firmly rooted in Greek. But this episode. There's so much gay. Is the BBC purposefully doing this to increase the internet fandom double-quick? (I've noticed that, the gayer the series, the more people seem to like it.)
