Thought provoking title eh? Please do not start discussing until the episode has finished.

We really got to see Merlin's darker side didn't we? But it's good the way he's taking more control of his own destiny like that. And waow, Morgana was a bit of a shock! Her character is so much deeper now. Great episode, only wish Arthur had played a bigger part in it.

God it's always like that with the Pendragon's isn't it? Doing an action without much thought, and then after much persasion, realise it's wrong and regrets doing it but there's nothing they can do to reverse it! Anyway, was it me (more of a Bradley person) or did Colin look pretty fine in this episode? Maybe I just like the darker side thing going on there Go Morgana too! She really did hate Uther, just saw it in the wrong light. I'm glad Gwen was there to bring both Morgana and Merlin back down to earth and make them see the real side of things. Next week's looks good

a lot going on in this episode, not much Arthur/Merlin though Sad to see Tom needed to be killed, I wonder if Morgana feel some kind of guilt giving him the key. (and while we're at it... why leave the key in the lock and door open?) poor Gwen I liked the scene where Arthur came to say sorry. Uther showed some humanity, saying he regretted killing Tom to Morgana. And Morgana, I haven't read the legend, I only know what I read about her turning evil, but I really liked how she changed her mind in the last scenes and regretting what she done (or so it seemed) and Merlin... hiding the staff under the bed?? seriously.. isn't that a litte bit careless, +it's quite easy to catch. Sweet sweet Gwen, the logical voice in Merlin's dilemma he was facing. I liked his reaction when Gwen said "No". next week... need to come fast. On the other hand, it's the last episode! I so hope it's not gonna end in a cliffhanger. Merlin vs Nimueh - gonna be interesting!

Hmm... not really sure what to think about this episode. I'm not overly keen on either Morgana or Gwen, so it definetely wasn't one of my favourites (also, hardly any Merlin/Arthur... ). But I think it was a good build up to next week's, which looks fantastic!

Yeah, this was a good episode, but there was a dissappointing lack of Arthur Lots of drama and I was very entertained, but I'm kinda not ready for the series to end yet. The next episode looks good, but I don't want it to happen yet!

Brilliant episode! They just seem to be getting better and better.
It was great to see that different side of Uther. The character of Morgana has nearly always annoyed me to hell, kinda like the character of Marian in the Robin Hood series, but I really liked her in this episode.
I loved how Merlin almost didn't bother to go after them and save Uther, finally we see another side to him as well.
The lack of Arthur in this episode was an unusual change, which suprised me, but I really didn't seem to mind him not playing a big part in it, as Morgana filled in his place and did it so well.

Yeah, I agree about Morgana's character ^^^ And I *knew* Merlin wasn't going to sit there and do nothing, even if it was last minute that he decided to trudge up there
